JAGGERY


Jaggery is unrefined natural sugar that is produced without adding any chemicals. More than 70% of the total world jaggery production is done in India. It is popularly known as the “medicinal sugar” and is nutritionally comparable with honey.  Jaggery has been used as a sweetener in Ayurvedic Medicine for years and also as an ingredient in both sweet and savory dishes across the world.

SOY CHUNKS


Soya chunks are meat substitute i.e. even vegetarians can have them for consuming a good amount of protein. Soya chunks are obtained from soybeans at the time of extraction of soya-bean oil. So we can say that these chunks are actually defatted soy flour product, a by-product of extracting soybean oil. Soya chunks are also known as meal makers.

SUGARCANE MOLASSES


Molasses or black treacle is a viscous product resulting from refining sugarcane or sugar beets into sugar. They are used for sweetening and flavouring foods, used for alcohol production. Sugarcane molasses has several important roles in livestock feeding, due to the nutritive, appetizing and physical properties of its sugar content.

Cashew (anacardium occidentale) came to India and is a native of Brazil. But today India is the second largest producer of Cashew. The cashew nut is a popular snack, and its rich flavor means that it is often eaten on its own, lightly salted or sugared. They are significant sources of protein, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc and selenium.
